You have your point, but even you have tested the item, i don't think you'll have enough time to test the item thoroughly on that instance.
if you haven't, for sure you'll be asking for a personal warranty for that case.
what if, you'll find out that the item you have bought has some defect (or lets say dali ra ma lowbat, which is dili dayon nimo nakita if full charge igka meetup ninyo). then the buyer will not honor the personal warranty given.
Wouldn't you be doing the same thing the TS has done, let the istorya community know about it.
