I took the risk on buying the items because of the following things:
-> he is a "senior" member
-> he is also been long here
-> he promised 1day of personal warranty
-> I needed the item


I'm a concerned istorya.net "citizen" and this is the reason Why I posted it here as for the community to be aware of it (resolved or not).

Just a simple fact sa mga mo blame sa buyer... Kanang personal warranty kay mao na siyay assurance sa buyer nga mabalik niya ang item just in case naay problema, sakto nga mo test sa item but dili sa tanan instance sayon mag test tungod sa location, schedule og laing factors, so enough na kabalo ang buyer sa specs sa iya paliton plus the personal warranty UNTA.

Bisan sa mga tindahan like interpace naay 30-Days Immediate replacement sa ila major items, so it means naay possibility nga basin magka problema ang unit within 30 days, brand new pa gani na.

Kanang mga mo blame sa buyer, maayo unta kamo maka suway sad ana, dili ingon nga ganahan ko kasuway mo but it would be best if you learn it from experience nga mailad mo regardless of the reasoning that you try to give a non-honorable seller.

I have traded lots of items and most kay personal warranty ra akong hatag, I can test or not with the client, ako ra ingnon nga kbalo ko maayo akong items, but just in case magka problema within the warranty period, I immediately honor the warranty...

The item is not just the issue here, nor the probable mistake of the buyer... The main reason why this topic exist is that everyone should know that there are indeed nga mohatag personal warranties with no honor in what they promise, heads up ra ni nga thread.

Your argument is:"Why not test the item first before buying?"
You have your point, but even you have tested the item, i don't think you'll have enough time to test the item thoroughly on that instance.
if you haven't, for sure you'll be asking for a personal warranty for that case.
what if, you'll find out that the item you have bought has some defect (or lets say dali ra ma lowbat, which is dili dayon nimo nakita if full charge igka meetup ninyo). then the buyer will not honor the personal warranty given.
Wouldn't you be doing the same thing the TS has done, let the istorya community know about it.

i'm sorry to say, but on my opinion, you are the one who's missing the point here.

-wat if mo lowbatt dayun? or the item didn't perform well? consider this possibility all d time esp wen buying cellphones, digicams, electronics. mas maau palit nlng brand new, save for it, para walay labad. mao man jd na risk kung mopalit ka dri. kani laging mangiyawat ta makabarato, ilad nuon.

-wa kay salig sa seller? take his/her pic, ask for a valid id. ask for a written warranty/contract.

-if sigurista jd kaau ka, then online stores/sellers are not the one for u. mas maau jud kita buyers ang vigilant.
