this is the downside of technology... to buy now or wait for the next best thing

everything is obsolete the minute you purchase it off the shelf

like how the Nokia Lumia just came out then Windows Phone 8 was announced soon after

despite that I'm still going to buy a Lumia... because I want to be rid of the limitations of my android phone

I just got an Xbox 360 with Kinect even though I know the next gen is in the works... why? because I don't want to spend time sitting down waiting when I could be playing here and now

why Xbox 360? because of Kinect... I gained a lot of weight ever since I got married and had kids. really tough to find time to work out at home... much less leave home to head to a gym. at least with Kinect I'm on my feet playing with my kids and having fun [hmmmm... might start a thread on this]

anyway... the thing about technology is that if you're going to wait for the next best thing then you'll always be waiting

and when you put you're money down and buy it... be deaf to those who say you're stupid for buying it now when you should have waited. just take it home, plug it in, and enjoy it. and those who say you were stupid are gonna knock on your door and ask if they can play too.
