first thing u should do is buy a factory unlocked iphone.. if dili sya unlocked or openline but ma unlock thru gevey.. u should not upgrade without using a custom firmware.. u should be very careful not to upgrade the baseband..

If your ip4s is already out of contract, you can push globe hard enough to unlock it for you (the same procedure as AT&T). Normally they don't do this but some of the people I know have gotten theirs unlocked....Only if yours is out of contract and only if you push really hard.
