its a situational answer that I would say to you..

it all depends on what situation you are called for.... If your the only child and your parents needs you most.. then you can explain your wife/husband that your parents need you sa...

if your not the only child and you have brothers and sisters and your parents is in an emergency situation... then im sure one or the other of your brothers or sister would rise up to the occasion and help your parents.. it doesn't need to be only you to help them....

bottomline, it depends ra na giunsa nimo pagpasabot nila or sa imong wife or husband...

communication and understanding is all there is
