@shryock wow, that's an eye opener. 1.5 gigs is definitely not enough. If that is the case, mangita lang ko lain ISP after six months pag expire sa ako contract ani. Ang Sun ray walay broadband cap kuno?

i thought ang NTC has not allowed broadband speed capping

I am presently using my Nokia Asha 303 as a modem. Do you think its more or less the same as a stick modem? its speed is HSDPA 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2 Mbps.

remember, SUN was bought by PLDT. PLDT owns Smart also.
almost the same rules apply ra na.

dili man strict ang NTC diri sa ato. so wala ra.
did you know na tag 50 cents ra man gani unta ang text, pero ang mga telcos wala gi-implement.
ana ka luag diri sa ato.

if your phone can suffice, and ok ra man nimo ang performance, then ayaw na palit USB modem.
problem lang ana na situation kay, dili na nimo magamit maayo imo phone while connected ka sa net.
also, one thing to be careful of is overheating.
kusog kaayo muinit ang mga USB modem, unsa pa kaha ang phone.

kung mopalit jud ka modem, i think mas practical kung sa BnS na lang ka palit.
look for those with 7.2mbps running on 3g signal.
    make sure openline.
