    in the early days, like what we have in the bible, the beginning of Christian life is when a soul starts to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, that's the time we are called children of God.

    But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,-John 1:12

    hope this thread will not be close due to attack of the person not in the opinion. anyways i agree why my thread are being close cause the last post of others are directly attacking the person not the opinion itself.

    @all
    lets stick with the thread discussion and let's not attack the person but just the opinion.

    @all
    just post bible text since we are discussing bible the answer will be in the bible not in mere idea or philosophy.

    @ KING ...

    Murag lisod gyud na if you only rely on the bible because you can never say you are right and we are wrong and vice versa.

    So how do you reconcile it ? Which one is which ?

    Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments
    Matthew 22:37-40
    para nako,we should focus on these commandments. all else will follow..
    good deeds,respect for others, leading a good example to others, loving unlovable people..how to deal with hardships..etc...
    all these leads to be a true Christian.

    we dont need to be perfect to be a true christian,otherwise no one would be considered as one.
    all that is required for us is that we know how to love.knowledge and wisdom, everything else passes..
    except for faith , hope and love..

    apostle paul once said in 1 Corinthians 13:1-10

    If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
    Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
    Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.

    yeah i agree,'cause in a certain bible verse..you can either be blessed or question it?

    like the verse in matthew 6 which tells about how we should not worry about things...
    other people might find it illogical or rediculus not to worry when ought to make things turn the way we want..
    while other people would take this as an invitation to trust God more..
    others would say nga so magsalig nalang ka sa Ginoo...then others would say nga of course trust God but we need to work..
    others would say working hard is not equal to being worried..etc2x..hahaha...so impossible jud bai king nga
    walay interpretation ma involved ani...

    GALATIANS 5:22, 23
    “On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
