    to san jose:
must we really enforce haircut regulations and such? does it help with one's studies? nope. does it stress both the students and the inspectors? yes. where's the benifit? image? pride? ky i don't think pride is to be fed. especially coming from a catholic school. ma ingnan pa lang ta ug hypocrite. diba?

the same thing goes for tattoos. i even heard a teacher saying that it makes one look like an ex-convict. that in itself is descrimination. which is not to be tolerated *unta* in a christian society. but look at all of this. it shames me to see these kinds of actions jud. and to top it off, its coming from a christian school.

dili lang unta ko manaot, pero ingun ani man gud jud ang reality. dont worry though, i love san jose, i had the best 3 years of high school and 1 semester of college there. im just pointing out some faults that need a little help with.

kinsa'y josenian diri nga mu agree ani and thinks that the haircut regulations should be removed?

from: a former, but proud josenian (more of a creative input than lalis or anything negative)

ps: i was not kicked out for neither disobeying haircut regulations nor for getting tattoos. im just standing up for the nameless and sadly countless victims of these kinds of discrimination. and i left ky mumigrate naman mi

    hi djsb,

You have the point there, but I beg to disagree.

Well for me, USJR will never be USJR if the policy on haircut will be removed.

Having a "nice" haircut is one way of presenting yourself.

While it is true that hairstyle is not the only basis of being a gentleman per se, I think that it is much better to have a presentable one. When I say presentable, it is on the context of my own preference.

And also, following basic rules of the school will help you to become a law-abiding individual. It is more of a training on how you will follow the authorities.

I think, hairstyle depends on the taste of every individual. Unfortunately or fortunately, USJR wants its students to have a haircut that contradicts your hairstyle. In this sense, you have the option to abide or get out.

I think, students who want to have long hairs are not victims. Victims sound being oppressed. I think USJR doesn't want to oppress or victimized their students just because they are implementing this hairstyle. They have their good reasons to implement it, otherwise, they had already abolished it long long time ago.

    Just my two cents...
