lots of first dates. hahaha. but i have one that's really memorable...

we were in college then, and we decided to go with a bunch of friends to the cliff (that's what we called this place near the beach) and shoot some photos (for photography class)... i knew he liked me, like really like me.. but i was hesitant at first because he was my best friend. i didn't want to ruin a good friendship. hehe. so anyway, we were there at the cliff, done with our shots and having a round of chilled beer.. i was actually sitting on a spot far from the crowd, enjoying the sunset and the cold beer when he sat down beside me and said, hey i have something to tell you.. but i really dont want to tell you because i think it would not be appropriate. but i guess you know what i'm trying to say here...
i knew what he wanted to say, that he liked me a lot.. etc etc.. but i was like.. no i dont know what you have to say and i don't want to assume. but i think i have an idea.. the thing is you have to tell me so i dont make any assumptions..
he takes a deep breath and says.. i love you cris... and i dont know if you feel the same way but i love you so much... the question is, do you love me too?
my gulay, i was completely shocked. i mean i never expected him to say those three lil words, and honestly i am so into him.. but like i said i was hesitant because of the friendship thing. so it took me a few moments to respond to his question.. coincidentally, the music that was playing was "I do" sang by 98 degrees.. then the song was playing sa part na "and if you're asking me do i love you this much, i do.. " and i told him, there you go.. that's my answer..
and he hugged me and we had our first kiss..
