As i remember when i was in kindergarten and elementary years, teachers can pinch; pull the ears, or let us squat holding books on each hand under the sun, or they drag us thru our uniforms. Pero karon panahona kung teacher ka, suwayi gani labay eraser sa imo studyante.. So ok ra na nimo buhaton na sa mga teacher sa imo anak as their second parents while in school?
ok nako na mo punish ang mga teachers as long as dili excessive and punishment should be equal to the offense committed......how would you define verbal abuse?if mo ingon ko nga "nag tinanga ka or nag danghag ka" verbal abuse na? by the way, naa na ka anak? if naa, tell us if effective ba gyud imong mga methods then i'll hear you out but kung wala then suwayi sa nga naa kay anak then we'll talk otherwise walay bili for me ang imong mga talking points.

basta ako i'll use all means necessary to enforce discipline from kanang "am am" to verbal then corporal in that order ug walay mag buot nako unsa-on nako ug disiplina akong anak even the government.

besides dili tanan parents abusive when it comes to giving out corporal punishments.that stupid ordinance labeled all cebu city parents as such and i hate them.

wala lagi ko kita ug japan, south korea, china, singapore, malaysia ug uban pa na asian countries sa imong list? progressive man sad na sila.maybe not spanking kids is a white people thingy.

Of course di maayo nga mamunal na sila but if dapat jud why not? Niagi man sad ko ana, desciplina may tawag nato ana. Nganong mosunod man jud ta sa US?

.. seriously, i kinda disagree with what you said that even the government has no right to interfere with how you deal with your children. When you slap your child ten or 20 times or when you kick your child or when you hit your child with a stick ten or 20 times - now, those actions would be labelled as Child Abuse, right ?? That would be the time that the government will come and protect your child from you.

.. that's why it's better that the specifics of this ordinance will be made clear so that no generalization will happen.
All or nothing ra jud ang govt ani. But hibong lang ko nganong maningil masilang 5k? Unsa ni tax sa pagpadako sa bata? Wahaha atot oi

pakiha-a lang na sila if ever. dili nako ma imagine kung pila ra ka bunal pwede or pila ka second ang lusi kung ipa define gyud.why need this ordinance when naa naman ta existing laws for the protection of children against abuse?actually overprotected na gani to the point that they can't go to jail for heinous crimes.

    Wala ni violation diba.
Wa gihapon dag-anan ang maestra boss, kung ma humiliate ang bata it is also some kind of emotional discomfort. Ug basin maabot ang time nga una mo disiplina ang usa ka ginikanan, iya sa tan-awon iyang lista kung unsay dili pwede

I agree with marius and Eve's Apple Project, this ordinance need specifics. Asa kaha ta makakuhag draft ani para mabasa nato.

my point is. there's already an existing law for the protection of children against abusive people and parents. there had been charges filed against the violators so i don't see the need for this stupid ordinance.we already have plenty of laws made by our politicians just to make them appear as if they're "working" but wala gihapon na implement or senseless gyud.
