'cause for me...di na kinahanglan..of course i go to mass, confession,i believe in the holy eucharist in teh sacraments of the catholic chrch..but other than that murag wala na guro.i see people doing it, but i respect them for that..i tried to tell my catholic friends and families nga di naman guro kinahanglan magluhod padung sa altar or unsa pa nang naandan sa katigulangan buhaton
kay Jesus already did it..their answer is kahibaw daw cla ana but it's just something they want to do..
like an offering or for whatever the reason is, i just respect them.other people might see it as idolatry, but no one would really know what's in their hearts..para nako, i already informed them nga di na kinahanglan...but there's nothing i can do between the differences in our convictions..sad to say most people esp the elderly have been practicing these traditions for ages na...
and it's something that is hard to change...so let's hope nga makakita cla nga no need na..and for me the best way of showing them is to understand them..rather than opposing directly 'cause people would find it condemning. Jesus did not condemn those who did not follow His teachings, but He never stopped telling the truth..people eventually people saw that Jesus was real, in the same way that people who are still doing a lot of stuff in order to be saved, like talking to saint's images, etc would also come to know that Jesus is the only way and that these things are...and personally there's nothing wrong with it..it's just a matter of conviction..personally i think this is just for representation purposes and an extra mile like showing how grateful they are for the Lord's passion...some people see it as an idolatry?no one would really know except God..for me the easiest way to see if a person is trully worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth, is through his actions.
