In Aquaponics, we don’t need to use insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, etc., we use companion planting, bio-diversity and molasses as deterrents for insects. If the worms-insects eat your plant, you can feed the worms-insects to your fish, still free food for your fish. That is the cycle of life in its simplest form. Snails, eating your plants chop them up and feed them to the fish-tilapia.
