dako kaayog utang kabo-but-on ang mga South Korean sa atoa nasud... our soldiers fought for their freedom during the korean war, they even sold us 5 F-5As that is put in service in 1998 with the token price of $100 per fighter
beside most technologies of SoKor are from the yanks...
ABS-CBN (ABias-CBN eheh_ should get its fact straight. We're not buying jet fighters or MRFs yet. we're likely getting a t/a-50, an attack version of the korean t-50 golden eagle. One of the best lead in fighter trainers there are. good choice. i just hope we wont stop upgrading and wont consider this plane as our "ok na" fighter or MRF.
Agree ko sa TA-50 it's like flying an F-16, mas sayon na ang pag transition sa mga pilot nato puhon when the govt pushes through with MRFs. At least we're back to supersonic technology..

its part sa CUP, PAF are getting interim fighters...
mag unsa man ang high tech nga fighter jets kung ang imong pilot way maayong training? tabla ra ug nihatag ka ug socket wrench sa unggoy nga moayo sa imong sakyanan..
modernizing an Airforce are more complicated than modernizing an army and navy... its not like buying a shoe or buying a phone...
DND are acquiring asset based from mission requirements and not for pride and bling aspect.... different mission different aircraft...
maintaining it is one thing, supporting it is another thing... its a very complicated process...
you dont just buy it... you need to maintain it, house it, support it....
