Ah ok...Well u can assume that he was saved by faith alone, being physically disadvantaged. But as a Muslim I believe since his sickness stopped him from doing good works, God sent His special mercy to the man knowing he had the intentions in his heart to do good and so I still think just having faith is not going to save us. I believe our faith as well as our actions in this world will determine where we end up in the hereafter.

"Mercy resides in God; deeds are in men." sa English. While not to over-analyze that quote there is some truth to it. But when it comes to Salvation wala gyud mabuhat ang taw na ma-save siya pinaagi sa iyang kaugalion lihok, hugaw kaayo ta para sa Ginoo. Take Uzzah (from the OT Old Testament) for example who tried to stabilize the Ark of the Covenant from falling into the mud when the ox stumbled, he touched it, was smitten and died on the spot. King David was afraid to travel further so they stopped for three months! This is just an example how unworthy we are to even touch and in some instances look at the Holiness of God. The world was in dire need of the Mediator hence the term, Savior.
