I've tried it... Nindot oi... It's a different Windows experience...

Pero napansin nako mas nindot xa for touch devices... tungod sa iya interface... though wlay blema kung normal pc, mas ma-appreciate lng jud nimo ang changes if touch device ang imong gamitan... observation lng nako ni... hehehehe...

Windows 8 will be available on...

Just a few minutes ago, Steven Sinofsky announced at Microsoft’s annual sales meeting that customers will be able to get Windows 8 – whether in upgrade fashion or on a new PC – starting on October 26th. Earlier this month at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Tami Reller told attendees Windows 8 would be available in October. But now everyone has a specific date to mark on their calendars."

one question, will windows 8 support legacy architecture, as far as i remember windows vista and 7 have this issue specially on architecture born out of winxp days (win32), WinRT or Windows Runtime, their new windows 8 programming model that form the backbone of Metro-style apps, even if WinRT are made from win32 api, is there any assurance that it will never have any issue on legacy architecture?

i heard this from some msdn dev that Oct is the official month but the Release to manufacturer (RTM) will be release earlier than that probably august... thou cant confirm the validity coz i just told raman pud...

RTM is this coming August.

then again the legacy support issue is still lurking in the air MS had said before on windows 7 that it will support legacy application sill naa gihapon, if pwede man gani thru compatibility settigs would be nice nga no need na tana ana and just open it, ok rako IE will not be supported .... its been a pain in my ass for the past 8 years
