    Kalma lang bai.

Ang kinabuhing walay katapusan bay kay sa bagong langit o jerusalem makab-ot o mabaton.
Kay kung karon nana kay kinabuhing walay katapusan karon, dili naka mamatay?

First bai., ang eternal life is not primarily a QUANTITY BUT A QUALITY.

The Word ETERNAL there 'ainios' in Greek, is a QUALITY OF LIFE.

It is the life of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself in a Christian.

eternal life in my previous post i have said has a past aspect and a future aspect since salvation is an event and a process. REad 3 TEnses of Man's Greatest Experience.

Christians have eternal life now, but it's full manifestation will be revealed when their frail bodies will be glorified.

kung dili ka motoo nga ang Christian naay eternal life karon.....ikaw Bai pagkiglalis ni Lord Jesus Christ:

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

kanang statement in red ni Lord Jesus bai magkiglalis pa ka niya ana?

Rcruman: "Lord kun ni pass na ang mga Christians from death death to life......since klaro man kaayo "has passed from death to life" eh........dili na ta mamatay ang mga Christians LOrd?"

Basin mulalis moingon napud ka nga si Lord Jesus dili ang eternal life. kini bay o

1Jo 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life--

1Jo 1:2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us-

kinsa maning eternal life which was with the Father nga na manifested sa mga apostles?

kinsa pa man katong ni Igon:

Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

    You're right its past tense.

Why wont you read the top verses:
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

It was past tense because it was in heaven when Jesus Christ came and get the rigtheous.
Eternal life will be given when Jesus Came back.
That's why it will not perish because we are like angels on that time.

Salvation from sins is the first step when we accept Christ and let Christ live on us.
But if we stop doing his words then we will be astray.

That is why on Hebrew 6:4-6, those are people who are enlightened by Christ but separated.
But for you, you've interpreted if professing Christians (don't interpret).

    PEace!

    notice the words in red:

1Jo 5:11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

" HAS GIVEN us eternal life" " has given" past tense. It was done already.

1Jo 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

    "HAS" LIFE------------past tense.

He who has the Son HAS THE LIFE.....what life? Eternal life spoken in verse 11.

    11. At ito ang patotoo, na tayo'y binigyan ng Dios ng buhay na walang hanggan, at ang buhay na ito ay nasa kaniyang Anak.

    12. Ang kinaroroonan ng Anak ay kinaroroonan ng buhay; ang hindi kinaroroonan ng Anak ng Dios ay hindi kinaroroonan ng buhay.

ingon ani na lang ay para klaro.

In the original Greek the words : HAS GIVEN is in the aorist tense.

Greek and English Language-------dili gyud pareha ang nature sa tenses nila. Greek has 7 tenses english has three.

The mood of the words "HAS Given" is in the INDICATIVE MOOD.

So actually the words "HAS GIVEN" [WHICH IS ACTUALLY ONE WORD ONLY IN GREEK] IS IN THE AORIST INDICATIVE.

Since ang mga translators mangita gyud og saktong equiivalent, ilang gidungagan og has. peru i think wala gihapon maconvey ang saktong sense sa original kay tenses in Greek always describe the NATURE OF THE ACTION not the TIME as we have it in english.

For example in Greek and present tense nila dili karon nga time. kundili it is an action that is continuing and progressing, And time element you have to determine sa context pa.

Aorist indicative in Greek is always translated in the past tense.

Example nga great variance between Greek and English tenses:

From Gadiel Isidro a professor of Greek language:

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Fourth, vs 8-9 states that it is through faith that he is saved. The word saved here is sesosmenoi, a participle in the perfect tense.

But there is an unusual grammatical construction which should not be overlooked. The phrase in Greek is este sesosmenoi, translated “you are had been saved”. This certainly is not good English. But this is significant Greek. This is called periphrastic participle. This kind of grammatical construction abounds in the Greek language which seeks to emphasize its superlative degree. What Paul meant was this that our salvation is not only an accomplished event, but also continuing and progressing. This means that our salvation is in the highest degree permanent and presently dynamic.

This again emphasizes the permanence of the status of every believing sinner. Thus he is saved forever.

Then we also read that the faith to believe is from God. This is also supported by Romans 10:17 and Acts 7:27. In Eph. 2:8, the nearest word to the gift of God is not salvation, but faith. And because even the faith to believe comes from God, there is no place for a single act of works in our salvation. Salvation is all of God.
