Kenshiro MY DEAR, you don’t need to be superhuman to digest these words from the mouth of Jesus himself. Jesus tells you how to have the ETERNAL LIFE, listen to him!

The Gospel of John 17:3 contains the following statement. Jesus said, making supplication to God:

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.”

The above statement has no other meaning except that the secret of eternal life is that man should believe in Allah as being the only true God and in Jesus as his Messenger. This statement does not say that eternal life lies in believing God to be a hypostatic union of three persons who are distinct from one another, and that Jesus is fully human and fully divine at the same time for that he is God incarnate. This statement was made by him during his supplication to God which precludes any assumption that he might have said it out of fear of the Jews. If belief in the trinity was necessary for eternal salvation he must have expressed it here being alone and having none to fear.

When it is confirmed, as it is here, that eternal life resides in belief in the true unity of God and in belief in the prophethood of Christ, it follows that anything really opposite to this belief must be the cause of eternal death. Christ being sent by God essentially proves him to be other than God.

The Muslims, on the contrary, are the possessors of this eternal life for believing in the only true God while other nations who indulge in idol worship are deprived of it, as the Trinitarians for not having belief in the true unity of God. The Jews are deprived of it for not believing in Jesus as being sent by God.
Sorry bro but the biblical evidence says otherwise.
No prophets claim they are one with God.
It is plain and simple Christ is both a messenger and one with God himself.

It seems that you have twisted the true meaning of this verse. In the verse
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."
    John 10:30

This is where you missed since you see that Jesus was a prophet this verse could have stopped at "from now on you know him(God)". Because that can be the task of the messenger. However it continues not only knowing God but they have "seen God" which is Jesus. This is the true meaning of the whole context. You yourself have clearly twisted it and mixed it with confusion.

The Bible is so clear that it explains itself"
Jesus was disheartened by the misunderstanding of Philip that "if he seen Jesus he has seen the father."
It goes on to say in the ff regarding the disbelief of Philip by which you have the Apostle Philip Mentality.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
    John 14:9

I and my Father are one.
    John 10:30

Its very clear and simple Jesus say what he meant to be a divinely one with God, to prove this the Pharisees accused Jesus of blasphemy (claiming to be God) by attempting to stone him.

Yes Jesus honors God in John 17:3 - but again that does not discount the divinity of Jesus. As what I said Jesus Honors God and God Honors Jesus Mark 1:11 this does not contradict the divinity of Jesus, why? the answer is "Love". they are in a loving relationship, so should we be in a loving relationship with one another.

Tell me if you are in a relationship with your colleague would like to usurp his power and authority based on hate and jealousy?or you respect him and honor him which is based on Love. This is the Love relationship between Jesus and God.

    The verse goes on.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
    John 17:5

Tell me in your book or any other part in the Bible if there is a prophet who had the Glory of God before the world was?

If we worship Jesus as an Idol then God would have condemned this very act of idolatry instead God honored Jesus in Mark 1:12.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.
    Isaiah 9:6-7 (NIV)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given...nice verse bro.

Born and given have different meanings.
Born since he incarnated in the flesh and given since he came from the father before the beginning.

Wide na kaayo ang scope if religion atong estoryahan regarding this topic.

What is see here is pure murder and disrespect of human life and personal beliefs. People like these should be dealt with accordingly.

In this example, the culprits are Muslim Extremists, so we should not directly vent our anger towards the peace loving muslim civilians.

But I just hope, whenever Muslim Extremists are caught and given justice, muslim civilians will not support them and treat them as heroes and modern-day saints. Though their actions are inhuman and not widely accepted, in the hearts of muslim civilians, these criminals are still their muslim brothers and sisters. Unlike us Christians, murderers and criminals are still abomination, and we don't give a rat's-ass care even if they are our "Christian" brothers.

Sakto ka. So the important thing to know is not religion but the Truth of God in Christ Jesus. Kay ang taw bro is shaped by His own belief.

Kung ato jud hunahunaon pag-ayo kung insakto ba ang pagpatay, bisan unsa pana ka solid sa brotherhood nya maoy atong himuong basis to justify dili gihapon acceptable sa society ang maong binuhatan. In reality there is a compulsion in religion in ISLAM. Daghan mga cases nga kung sa imong tibuok panimalay solid mo nga muslim and then kalit nga dunay ma convert ninyo to other faiths especially Christianity, they will do anything nga mabalik ka or else they will kill you.

Of course sa Christianity dili matawag ang usa ka killer or kawatan nga brothers kay duna may distinction ang believer ug ang unbelievers though we have the desire to help and share the truth to this fallen world and we want to connect even to the very wretched, wicked and depraved individual.

If there is ONLY ONE GOD then why force your theory of trinity that not even the Prophets of God taught it! Even Jesus Christ never EXPLICITLY said, again I will repeat it "I AM GOD, WORSHIP ME".

It has proven that the Christ had extraordinary liking for worship and for obedience to God. Had he been God himself he would have not been involved in the worship of God. As God is not required to worship himself, a god who is ILLOGICAL and IRRATIONAL? GOD forbid!

    Are you sure?

It is plain and simple Christ is both a messenger and one with God himself.
Then how will you interpret or understand this?

As a prophet, Jesus said this in John 17:21...

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me"

It seems that you have twisted the true meaning of this verse. In the verse

Am I or your understanding of your own scripture is twisted or ambiguous?

kalma lang. let the Holy spirit dwell in you richly healthy discussion ba. Speak with words of compassion kay wala may nagbinuang nato diri.

Kita nalay sabot about sa deity ni Jesus Christ part. Kung nagpakataw man sya ug pasungan lang tungod sa humility nga gusto niya ipasabot sa tanang taw, then naay rason nganong wala siya moingon directly nga Ako ang Ginoo. But in these verses, duna juy something divine sa iyahang pagkataw kung sabton jud nimo pag ayo.

John 1:3, "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."Col. 1:16-17, "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

more of these verses that supports the deity of Jesus Christ.....

Just try to think it over about the miraculous birth, miracles, resurrection from the dead kung mere prophet lang ba si Jesus Christ like what the muslim claims. Dili ba enough ang mga prophets from the past kung mao raman gihapon kaha ang message nga dalhon ni Jesus Christ? what's the purpose of the virgin birth?
