dili system administrator akong work ron, lahi ako work but related gihapon sa networking.

if every mahimo ko system administrator, di ko ganahan ug gamay nga company or kanang gamay nga network. kay kana mga users himuon pod ka ana helpdesk at the same time.

the more nga saba ang usa ka user the lesser their knowledge sa computer

Network Administrator - is responsible mostly sa security sa network ninyo, giving different types of access to different types of work to the clients/user and other Networking stuffs using the servers(well it depends if unsa imo job description sa company)..

Sytems Admin - mao ni dre ang mga programming stuffs(SQL, mySQL, etc..) nga mumanage sa mga domain servers and other server management job(depende nsad ni sa imo company sometimes imo tanan ang trabaho hahaha)..

Ang System Admin ba kay mahulog ra og Database Admin?

Ask lang pod ko og unsa inyo ma ika suggest e.take sa mga fresh graduates?

read, learn and apply ra dong. ^_^ take sad mga certification exams that would be a good idea if naa ka ana..

for fresh graduates/ post graduate who wants to be a successful System Administrator it is very important gyud to know more about programming 100% or perhaps 75-80% ex: *.net, SAP, ISO/IEC etc, Database etc, Python, Linux & etc...

Based sa akong experience diri sa gawas. Daghan competitions pero only i can suggest for Filipino friends dig in deeper in programming it is very very useful gyud. And I can assure you gukdon ka sa mga companies with your knowledge.

Certifications give boost up your career later on. try mo kuha sa ug crash course i dont know kung naa offer dira sa UP cebu, basta daghan na sila gipang offer sa site.. at least maka-tabang pud ni ang certifications for qualifications and above average rate. pero mas dako ghapon ug rate ang naay programming skills.

Labada d.i kaayo sa ulo ana og naay 100% programming, kung mag Database admin pud boss kay SQL and Oracle raba ang needed?

Take CompTia A+, MCTS, and MCITP trainings. Or self Study. Check the course outline and study each chapter. You could search it in the inet. Then take certification exam when your ready. :P

Not required to study on programming.

Anybody could be a System Administrator even he is a high school graduate. As long as he/she could acquire the skills above.

in order to become a Microsoft Certified System Administrator you must take and pass the 4 exams in microsoft.
