@ michaelcona mao jud. for me dapat ang gps is built in sa phone and doesn't fully rely on internet.. dapat ma track even naka disable ang net sa phone and much better if ma track bisag naka off ang phone.

wla nmo g enable ang find my phone? by default nka on mana sya bsag ng restore pa...so if ever nigamit ug wifi ang nka palit or nikawat ato.. makita nmo ang last location diin gigamit imong fon.. i suggest enable ninyo ang find my fone... ako nka enable akong find my phone sa akong ipad and iphone same apple account so nka monitor akong both ios device same apple account nko... and will enable this also sa akong mac..

wow... mas detailed lageh na compared sa icaughtu pro.. i try nako instal sa aq 4s..but too late for my gf's phone. ang prob ra ana ky if walay net and if i restore. wala na jud. so dapat asap ma track dayon.

i agree boss, same sa tracesaver app, if the kawatan disable the GPS then its gone...not traceable, ang GPS kay dili na gamit labina na sa uban and that is disable by default also kung mg restore... ang kalisod sa mga apps nga for tracing phone kay ng focus ra sila sa GPS para nindot ang presentation sa user... dapat naa sad silay sending of information via internet.. kay im sure bsta naay hi-end fone gamiton man dayon na sa internet/gprs/3g....

Old phone with GPS rely on old method of GPS locking, dapat naa sa open field and it takes time like 2~10mins just like my old Samsung Omnia i900, once ma lock na sya ok na kaayo.

While this modern phone still has standard GPS, pero super dugay maka lock, that's why they are using this A-GPS or Assisted GPS, meaning mag salig pa sya sa network or wifi para dali maka lock in.

Naka record gihapon using the triangulation of network transmitter, grabe ka detailed ang tracesaver, kay hasta ang range sa network transmitter ma measure niya...

Once ang thief ni connect sa internet, automatic mo send data ang phone to tracesaver server.

About disabled GPS, kung kamo techie kaayo and not just using expensive phone para lang ma in, you should know how to FULLY utilized the phone features, you can tweak the phone to HIDE those settings... WTF grabe nako ka nerd hahahahah... bitaw it's for your protection for your precious lalab phone.

been to the the place where street phones are sold (atbang emall) gniha.
i was just scanning the phones while walking ky kuyawan ko but i think d man guru na sila mang hilabot sa place kung asa sila mamaligya. i didn't find the phone that i was looking for. maybe naa sa ilang mga bag ang mga nindot na phone.. didn't ask the sellers pud. balik lng guru ko didto.

@smarkies, Got ur point bro... but what if we reset your phone? re setup... dili mawala ang imong app? kung ako mopalit sa imong unit nga naa sa banketa na, ako gyud na i reset... will it be secured ghapon imong apps? im not techie but im just using my common sense nga kung pinalit na nko imong iphone from somebody ako gyud na i erase/reset using itunes..

Hello,
I had iGotYa on my device(3gs on 4.3.3) and was having unrelated issues with the jailbreak. I decided to re-jailbreak, however as I understand it, and seemingly the case in my situation. iGotYa will not let me do a hard reset or enter DFU mode.
Realizing this may be the problem, I uninstalled the application from cydia and tried to continue, however I am still unable to hard reset or enter DFU.
Is it possible that a script is left over from the application? I have been searching through the device files using iFile, though with no luck so far.

Any response is much appreciated,
