Sad to say in the Philippines , having a piercing or even a tattoo can hinder you from getting an employment . I remember my neighbor in Cebu told me about his job interview for a job at Gaisano Metro in Ayala that he was asked to take his shirt and pants off just to verify he doesn't have any tattoos . There are no laws in the Philippines to protect prospective employees from these kinds of illegal inquiries by HRs.

As for piercings , I don't really advise guys to have their ears pierced . It's not manly .

I had my left earlobe pierced. Nagpa-pierce lang ko kay ganahan man ko and for fashion statement as well. As for work, nadawat ra man ko dayon kay family business ra man sad akong gitrabahoan.. ahahhaha
