hmm.. ok2, gasugod pman sd ko sa 1st volume kay incoming 2nd year pman ko.. pero i will keep that in mind on what u said.. like take down notes gyud and internalize the textbooks.. hmm naa pa kay tips pra mski samtang undergrad pa ko kay after graduation ba ready nko to take exam mski wa pay reviewing.. hehe, gusto mn gud ko nga sa schooling plang nko im preparing myself ngyud for the board. i want to be top 1 in board, and i will be! just gonna have faith, learn it from GOD.![]()
To be honest, I'm a frustrated topnotcher, hehe, and I'm proud to tell it to the world! 93 ako average sa board exam and 94 ang 10th place, sayang but it's okay. Basin makatampo ko para makab-ot nah nimu.
U must have these things:
D = Determination, Dedication, Discipline, Desire + Faith in God!
and ibutang sa imu study table (or anywhere where u can see it every hour, every minute) that u want to top the board on May 2016 exam (USC ka? I assume lang, hehe)
In this way, u will be reminded always with ur dream.
Ur welcome.
That's gud! There's no such thing as overdoing as long as u understood what u read kay sayang sad ang tym. Don't forget taking down notes kay para scan2x na lang unya ka later on if u want to refresh ur mind.
U can touch PAS/PFRS na pud. After reading, answer questions from the reviewer buks so that u will know if u had understood what u read. If u r reading Valix's vol. 1, 2 n 3, better answer reviewer buks from Uberita or from other authors.
ill keep that in mind, nice tips. ive realized pud btaw the beauty of taking down notes kay pag karun lng na 1st year nko d mn ko mutake down og notes kay gsalig ko nga naa ra sa book tanan.. pero when lessons gets wide, murag sahay nhan ko mu refresh lng ta kadyot, mupakli pkog maau pero ok rman pud kay sayun pman to pag 1st year. pero ds coming year upto end mag take ngyud kog notes. wat my teacher told me pud kay answer daw pract 1 aftr reading fin. accountng 1.. wat do you mean? uhm, mag read ko about PAS? or answer og PAS questions? hmm, uberita.. ok2, i'll take that. thanks agen.![]()
The beauty of taking down notes is that u can have ur own presentation as well as techniques in presenting the important pointers for each topic. When I was in undergrad, I always rely on the books and remember how was it presented by the author. There r times man gud na I will remember faster when I'm d one who wrote it. It depends upon u actually.
Ur teacher is ryt! But in my case, I will understand thoroughly first and convinced myself that I have built a strong foundation per topic. To test the foundation, start answering theories and then its application to problems. List down areas where u make mistakes.
Prac 1 is good! But to be advanced, U can try answering auditing probs na even if pang-prac 1 pa imu level. They are just the same actually, Prac 1 gives u short-scenario problems while the other presents shot guns (if u r wrong on question no.1, then mostly will be as well in nos. 2-5 in a 5-question problem).
Yes, read PAS/PFRS! Although excerpts and interpretations are already on the textbook but there are terminologies that u can meet only by reading the standards. If u are aspiring to be a quiz bowler, then reading the standards will give u a great edge. Quiz bowls (interschool) will be every Accountancy Week, mga 3rd week sa July. I hope that u will attend that activity, usually at the Ayala Activity Center at 1PM-6PM, and witness/jot down notes as to the type of questions that the quiz master reads.
Bisag 2nd year paka, try to aim high and aim to be perfect in every exam, whether its an ordinary quiz or a departmental one. Next is to aim to be a quizbowler so that u can gauge urself against the best in local schools in Cebu.
So much for today,hehe...
basaha textbook ikaw duha per topic, practice solving problems, read a reviewer to reinforce what you read on the textbook.
