Rubberstamp house and senate? We're a democracy man bai. This is an unfair characterization of the senate. Rubberstamp implies that a dictator is telling them what to do as opposed to the senators playing politics and giving the voters what they want.

I know your disappointed with the verdict but you still have to respect it... what happened to your all your posts regarding rule of law? This is what the law provides for.

Dealing with graft will be simpler now. Corona represented the keystone, it was difficult to pry him out but now the other pieces have no foundation to cling to. Hopefully this change will encourage whistle-blowers to expose wrongdoings without fearing the acquittal of the accused by failure of proper justice.

I am hoping that you are correct bro. I hope to hear that the crocodiles in the BIR and Customs will be dealt with. It's been 2 years now since PNoy won but we haven't heard of any corrupt officials from these 2 branches sent to jail or just even removed from office.

Agree 100% but I also agree with other posters here that this won't go anywhere. Anyway 1/10,000 is better than 0/10,000. At this rate, Philippines will be a rich and developed country with no corruption in year 50,000 A.D.

I've dealt with corruption in both BIR and customs and frankly the cancer is so bad there that the only way to eradicate it is with a nuclear missile from China.
