Check with Hahn's (they have Tica / Shakespeare Uglystik), Chris Sports ( Shimano ), Toby's (Shakespeare uglystik), TCE (I got there my Ajiking, Tomman, Lemax, Xpuyo and serve my needs), ROX-Ayala (supplied by TCE). These are within your budget and good for starters.

With your budget you can buy already terminal tackles as well. You can also source a lot of terminal tacles at TCE (lures, hooks, sinkers, lines, etc). Some tackle shops at carbon market get some of their supplies from TCE.

But beware, this is addicting, you may want for more later.

    My one cent opinion.

hey herp i think man you should learn some manners or business ethics. if your selling something its not nice to say something bad to your competitor so you can get the business. I am a TCE customer, paul and rainer are good people. They give you the information you need. They also share the fishing sites in cebu. Most of the big time fishing enthusiast in cebu are there customer and trust what the tce tackle shop sell, and here comes you telling everybody here that they are selling crap.

A fellow angler once told me, one of the fish lies in siargao... "fishing is 90 percent luck, 5 percent skill and 5 percent gear."

    little knowledge is dangerous man.

I'm not selling something, who saids i am!? You're bloody insinuating i am, that and bloody badmouthing anyone too! I'm just stating FACTS based on personal experience from their equipment like: rods, reels & lines i got from TCE. Fishing enthusiast, even addicts like me did at some point (and even currently) are their regular customers. I myself am their customer, but i don't buy their rods or reels anymore. I usually go for their disposables like terminal tackle. And most of the time, i scrounge their shop for last minute shopping, in the event i forgot to pack something on my way to fishing locs up north. I'm not stopping you or anyone from buying from TCE. It's your bloody option or choice. Not am i in any way COMPETING OR SELLING (my FS here in istorya are "Novelty Fishing Items').

And i those big time fishing enthusiasts you say are their loyal customers? I wonder if you even really know the whole story, or you're just riding on the bloody waves i'm making here.

Little knowledge IS dangerous, but's it's not mine who's little knowledge it is... And i may be no BUSINESSMAN but i surely do know ETHICS.

Though you're right on the percentages too. It all boils down to the SHOOTER and not the ones he's SHOOTING with. "Naa ra sa indian, wa sa pana", so to say... But, i can always be an indian with a better pana that'll last me the whole war. hehehe...

    Cheers mate!

I forgot to mention that you can get good quality second hand tackles at a bargain by joining fishy forums like this.

I got my Abu Garcia Revo at a bargain from another forum, very cheap compared to buying brandnew. But it is still hit or miss, this time it's a hit. hehehe
