reformat using your lappy or adto na ibalik reformat sa imo desktop using ntfs format. ayaw sa butangi og o.s. ibalilk sa imo lappy then tarunga ang boot sequence sa imo bios, install a new o.s. if di matabang, pangita na lang og tabang sa shops or technicians nga mo service sa balay
this s the cause of deleted/corrupted boot.ini file, try dis options
1. check boot priority
2.try to repair using the win xp installer and enter to repair console
3. reformat is the last option f ur OS is really corrupted

There are two types of error message for OS... first is "no bootable device" means your mobo cannot detect your HDD or your HDD is not well connected to your mobo or your SATA cable or HDD is damage(causing the mobo not to detect it)// The next one is the one sir crashburn said... "NTLDR is missing" means your mobo and HDD can detect each other but there is no OS found inside it causing it to stop loading files(which cannot be found) and pop-up a message saying "NTLDR is missing"

check the cable first or the power for the HD, basin lu-ag. or basin naa nay bad sector ang imo HD.
better backup your files and reinstall windows but now use windows 7.
The fix of this before was booting to the recovery console and copying files from the OS CD to your hd. Taas kaayo ang process and still a hit or miss. good luck !
^^taas jud... i tried repairing my issued laptop before di modawat ug pirated OS CD, pero ug Original OS CD oks na oks kaayo ang pag repair pero taas, daghan instructions... thanks to me ex company IT dep for giving detailed instruction in repairing OS....
just follow this steps TS:
NTLDR Missing:
1. Use your Windows XP Bootable CD to boot. After booting enter the repair console by pressing 'R'.
2. It will then ask you for the operating system you want to use. type 1 if you only have 1 OS installed.
3. It will then ask you for your administrator password. key in your administrator password
4. copy ntldr and ntdetect.com from the Windows XP CD. if your Windows XP CD is in drive d.
copy d:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy d:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
TS, unsa nah imo lappy?? lenovo nah xa? and don't use fat32 kai 32gb lang ang max anah sa imu allocated space sa isa ka partition..
