It seems that we have a trend over here in the Philippines, when someone is accused of corruption, unexplained wealth, etc., they start using medical problems as an excuse so they don't have to answer the law. GMA, Mike Arroyo, Jocjoc Bolante...and now CJ Corona? Or coincidence again?

I bet CJ Corona might spring another surprise performance despite his seeming illness by showing up at the impeachment trial this afternoon on a wheel-chair looking frail accompanied by his doctor and nurse to show to the world he didn't mean to disrespect the Impeachment Court. He would be as meek as a lamb begging for understanding and forgiveness for his "walk-out yesterday". On cue and out of compassion kuno, a senator-judge sympathetic to Corona will move to defer the cross examination of the chief justice by the prosecution panel. Abangan!
