My PC boots up but when windowsXP is seen it restarts again & vice versa

boot your WinXP Cd, then go to recovery console

type ' chkdsk /f c: ' at the command prompt

maybe you can try the repair option after the F8(license agreement thing) sa OS installer.

bro befre the windows screen press F8 then in that enviroment choose DISABLE AUTOMATIC RESTART WHEN SYSTEM FAILS..Then from there a bluescreen will appear....tan awa bro unsa cause sa restart naa mn na didto...

same here, tan awa unsa message gibutang sa blue screen of death, if unmountable_boot_volume gani, try inserting winxp cd then pa deteca cya unsay file system imu drive na locate ang windows. if madetect niya press r. if unknown gani, pde nmu ma repair iya boot sector by rebuilding ang iya mbr, if naback upan nimu iya mbr.

btaw bro...ingon ako barkada, if murestart daw, usually naa sa power supply...if mu-blue screen, naa daw sa memory.
