The intense feeling of unsureness lies ahead in every second while the clock's ticking.
The soon to be grandmas and grandpa were there. I knew they were more excited to see their first grandson.
I'm worried for both my wife and son. Then a nurse asked me for a diaper around 8:11 PM. I bought it 3 hours ago because I was observing what the new parents were doing when somebody from inside will go near at them.
I handed over the diaper. And after 23 minutes, there was a baby boy with my family name in the child incubation or whatsoever room.
Then a nurse handed a receipt to me. I knew it was a drug that will stop bleeding. I was and happy and at the same time, very afraid for my wife's situation.
Please God, I prayed as I walked towards CDU's drugstore.
"Wala na ra ba mi stock ani na tambal sir.." the store in charge said.
Then, the race for life began.
To be continued...
