Pinoy man gud, daghan pa kaayug sugar-coating while ang mga insik, they cut to the chase and ask for the last price, then meditates for awhile to evaluate if alkansi ba sila or dili. They tend to think long term so that's why it wouldn't break their heart if gamay sila ug ginansiya, basta dili lang jud alkansi and at least nalipay lang ang customer (mau pud na naay pakapin panagsa). They also prefer to be "liquid", which means bahala ginagmay ilang kumprada or investments, basta cash... kaysa gara-gara na investment pero loan pud. Also, they know how to take care of their business partners, so they tend to give gifts, pasalubongs and other giveaways, not in a gallant way but just enough to let them know they care.

Learned all these by the way from my Fil-Chinese mom. And yes, datu siya. Sakay ra kos kahig. hehehe

I think luck does play a factor, and sometimes contribute to sudden wealth like winning a lotto. But what you do after winning a lotto is what determines your future. If you spend a big portion of it for parties and drinks, definitely that wealth will exhaust itself in a short span of time. If you spend it to create a new business or invest it somewhere for future growth, then you can see yourself becoming big someday.

( D ko rich ha...) and what i learned from that is kung naay kwarta ko murag prone ko nga mogasto ug dali..... and that money, wala nadali na ug kita..... pila ka days na nga g trabahoan..... so what i did now is akong g compute kong pila gyud akong magasto kada adlaw, and mao ra ako dad on sa bulsa,, pakapinan gamay, the rest e bilin balay kay basin magasto, labi nag mogawas nasad ni atong suya kung naay bag o.... and i've been doing things now nga think first (many times) before u purchase..... if naay kwarta pangita ug ways nga mo multiply na..... dili kay gasto dayun.... ayaw padala sa hype sa atong environment karun, sa mga commercials (Ipads, Iphones, Samsung, Flat TV, Bags shoes,etc...) Live Frugally.... Cheers.... mao ng dili ko mo ingon nga dato KA or the opposite, kay nindot kag gadgets, shoes, clothes, etc... coz i know daghan ang Rich nga very simple manamit..... and they don't invest on those things,, they invest to multiply their hard earned money....

what i see is that the newer generations of the chinoys now including me are more proactive to spending dili nakaayu frugal since naanaman sad business maintain nalang basta dili lang mag binoang og Casino, babae heheehe pero the dealbreakers gentlemen is that in our tradition start young in starting a business never spend beyond your means and as much as possible avoid Credit cards
