Say China starts building structures on the shoal, what do you guys think the Filipinos should do?

If you say bring the matter to the international courts, China will disagree and not recognize their jurisdiction over the matter. The only recourse since it is under a UN convention is to bring it to the UN. China is a permanent member.

If you say attack the structures, you will be fighting alone since the USA as state policy does not recognize the UNCLOS.

China had skirmishes with Vietnam in the late 80s over a similar conflict. Zero Chinese deaths in that conflict against a navy better equipped than ours. To think na Viets are proven better warriors than Filipinos.

there are reports of some skirmishes with our pinoy frogmen(i think its the pinoy version of US SEALS), destroying chinese structures in the spratly's before... though reports are confidential OOPPS!

The Philippines, however, were able to accost some Chinese fishing vessels and destroyed Chinese structures.
