Planning to upgrade my HD 6870 to HD 7770 Crossfired.

Slightly more power full ang 6870 alone so im thinking Crossfired 7770s will surely give you more processing power than a single 6870. Plus the fact na gamay ra consumption ang 7770 dili kaayo dako ang increase sa imo wattage consumption.. if fixed ka to xfire, then go go go

What resolution are you pairing the card/cards with? If 2560x1600 or less, kaya ra with single card. If dual, tri, quad monitor and up, go for crossfire.

I`m using 2 monitors, a 32 incher with full HD res for gaming and 18.5 inch with 1360x768 res for browsing.

HD6870 = HD7850 or HD7870... I think your HD6870 is a bit faster than HD7770... Mura ka upgrade to newer model but downgrade on level / performance.

HD6870 is slower than the HD7850 by a huge margin. Basa ug review sa crossfired hd7770 ts. Though it performs faster than hd7850 in some games, naay ubang games where it barely outruns a single hd7770. Consider pud ang heat and the possible in game problems imo ma.encounter like micro stutter ang poor xfire support

gaspar_73 is right. go get 7970.
or go get the GTX670. it's cheaper, energy efficient and a bit powerful than 7970.

single card set-up is better.
