first day of job is always the worst..quite mixed

-you don't know anyone, so you probably try to befriend the nearest person in your workstation (lucky for you if she/he's the chatty type)
-you end up eating alone in cafeteria or worse, you might be eating with new people whose conversation you can't seem to get along, hehe or they bombard you with questions about your personal, family or school life...
-exciting bec. you finally have work..
-you feel that time seem to be running in very slow pace...
-you spend the whole day reading company profile, orientation, rules..yada, yada
-since you don't have actual work yet, you can feel your eyes dropping, haha..you try to resist the temptation of sleep so to avoid giving them a bad impression.

been there twice, hehe...anyway, that's how it works...you just have to deal with it..besides, after a week..you will finally feel as part of the company.. :mrgreen:
