ila effort dli man mawala kay naa man mo nga mu maintain but just a thought what do you think will happen if the people generations ago parehas ug huna huna ni master shade(just an example) na they find it crazy also mu cross because the bulleinbeisser and bulldog breeds are not broken then we dnt have a boxer breed unta karn. definitely people generations ago did experiment in cross breeding and definitely naa sad mga bati migawas cguro adto na time but definitely we are thankfull that they did experiment because naay mga dog breeds na migawas and we even call it now as purebred. and definitely also most people ago crossbreed dogs for whatever reasons they have during that time and during that time no dog show has yet existed.

and who knows 7 generations of dogs from now a purebred will come out in the name of shipo dogs or pugmatian etc and 7 generations from now the shit tzu, poodle, pug, dalmatian breed still exist so wala na sayang ang effort sa uban tao coz ang ila breed naa pa ghapon jst that an additional purebred was created.

"cross breeding " was their jobs not ours naman gyd. as i learned from this thread and from some1 . i think as "breeders" it is our responsibility to promote the betterment of that certain breed to as close to that certain standard set for that breed.
so meaning para nako kana mag cross breed walay asinso ilang ge himu but nag ka anam ug ka back track sa breeding dogs. ^^

at sir Ironwood....im new here in istorya so i dnt really know the persons selling in bns but at any rate i also cannot judge the persons selling mix breeds in bns because i dnt know their reasons too...theres a possibility that they did it for business but theres also a possiblity that theyre doing it other than business coz a purebreed commands higher price than a mix breed so business wise for me only id rather go pure breed selling than mix breed selling.

if you read upon the history of each breed, you will avoid simplifying the act. for each breed to be established as such, it took a great deal of efforts and research. dili na sila pareha sa uban nga mix-mix lang kay kunuhay para maka discover ug new breed... dili ing ana kasimple ang tanan. thats putting much disrespect to the ones who have gone through a lot so as to produce these breeds.

no offense to you sir but i think based on the history i read that i simplify the the act that our ancestor. do you think that during their time some of whom were before christ there was research made? or a great deal of research was made?
if the history im reading is different from what youre referring to sir can i ask for the source coz my the im reading might be wrong. by the way sir im reading the wiki on dog breeds in the internet...although it was silent or it did not mention that there was none or there was research made but like the pug breed such breed was an old breed of dog and i doubt research was made on them and if indeed they made some research what would you call the people who breed that dog, why did they continue to breed said dog knowing that it had some health issues such health issues can be prevented if research was made.

im not saying that research is bad....research is good and in fact very good as what the germans did in their breed of GSD, they try to eliminate certain helth issues of the GSD and they were able to do it coz they can identify the defects mostly health ones due to advancement in equipments which i again doubt they have during the beginning or the making of purebred dogs.

the only thing i can think of where our ancestors reason for creating purebred dogs was as help for their daily chores or for adornment... for example they may have a dog they used to herd sheeps but then later on they instead of sheeps they now have cows so they need a dog who has the talent of herding but must be large enough to herd cows thus they might try to fing a large dog and cross it with their dogs who herd sheeps.....if you call that reaserch then ill agree with you but the way they think was way too simple.....they base it simply to their needs. during the old times i wonder if there where people breeding for competition on dog shows.

fortunately recently its not that simple anymore today especially since there are dog registries....and dog shows which is noce by the way.

im at a loss of apt words to explain this to you in such a way you would understand it very well... but i'll try.

before a particular type of breed is recognized and established as such, rigorous tests is done on them - meaning they breed and breed them to know if they will yield the same prototype of dog and such may be called a "new breed". as far as i recall, a breed may only be considered as such if it can withstand 7 generations of the same prototype - meaning bisag ikapito pa nimo nga i mate ang offsprings sa duha ka particular nga dogs, they will yield exactly the same prototype of dog. thats why we always read something about "created by selective breeding up to the point where two dogs of the same breed could be bred together to produce more dogs of the same type, conformation and temperament (a ‘breed’)." thats the standard line in so far established dog breed is concerned.

now, lets go to you issue of people, esp. here in istorya bns... kay mejo nilayat na tag layo kaayo ani ron. can you tell me if these people do their "mixing2x" with the end goal of creating a new breed? to say yes would be a stretch of an argument. they mix-mix yes, but then offsprings were sold even as early as at 6wks old! asa ana karon ang "agenda" of creating a new breed? its all pure business! thats what im driving at. there are people who are really into creating new breeds, they are carefully selecting each pair/parent and breeding them, testing their breeding, then breeding again, so on and so forth.... but ill tell you, they cant be found in istorya buy and sell. mixed breed sellers in istorya are just that - SELLERS.

@sir springfield- just an added information sir on the legal side, the philippines are following the jus sanguinis principle in determining whether you are a filipino or not. jus sanguinis= basis is blood which means as long as one of your parent is filipino then you are filipino while the USA follows jus soli= basis is place of birth thus even if one or both your parents are filipino but you were born in the USA then they will consider you as american hehehehe like the daughter of pacquiao the girl...she was born in USA. thus in the philippines its filipino by blood but in USA american by place of birth

That is why what is written in papers is IMPORTANT because that is the registry of who and what you are .

But you are taking it again to limitless confusion . You are stucked in the notion of AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP of FILIPINO DECENT . DETERMINING , I think is the wrong word because like as if you have to undergo such studies and figure out kins ajud ka , maybe its ESTABLISHING your ethnicity .

But if you only took heed of what I said , you would figure out that it would be different if JINKY PACQUAIO is a CAUCASIAN .

In comparison of PEDIGREED DOGS , you would know why such markings , faults , temperaments character ,etc existed thus gives importance to the pedigree because masubay nimo . If CROSSBREED na , its merely impossible to locate and kay UNIDENTIFIED ang lineage . Although its not a guarantee specially sa PCCI kay dgahan fakes pod ni surface out for how many years na , its a better reference compared sa wala thats why avoid ta ug PUPPY MILLS and that would be a different issue na pod .

nabiktima jud me bro..ingon xa naa papers after 2 months pro namatay nalang ang puppies nga ako gipalit..19k ra ba ang duwa..wa jud papers niabot..pwerteng guola nako mga bro....dapat if muingon naay papers on hand dayon..mas maayo 3 months pataas ang paliton with vaccines ug deworming jud..
