which comes first, the hen or the egg? i know i'm a thousand page behind but i just want to express my thoughts. There are things in life that our human mind can't grasp. no matter how long we spend in a laboratory and how much money we spend, some things don't have explanations. Science has been soaring high trying to disprove the existence of GOD, advertising and promoting new technologies and inventions, trying to snatch the primitive beliefs of people, pulling people away from GOD. Basing on their theories, the evolution, my question is, who designed that process? the complexity of life has a certain designer and that is GOD, HE is the Nature. IMO, the better question would be, "Until when can we have this universe ?"

All concepts, so far, in this thread have been mostly discussed during the Second Vatican Council. The resolutions that resulted from that council were largely accepted not just by catholics but by those in the scientific community as well.

Tell me TS, do you know about the Second Vatican Council? If yes, why then would you base your arguments from a proven fraudster like Kent Hovind and not on the Vatican's official stand? Would'nt that be more persuasive?

Even combine all people in all this world from the beginning till today and they say that evolution is true, it doesn't mean it's true. Only the Scriptures hold the Answer and in scriptures alone. Bible says man was created in the 6th literal day - exegesis.

Bible says: Men's greatest righteousness are like filthy rags.. Isaiah 64:6.

Almost half of Vatican I went out because of Vatican II. Even Catholics declare currently that the Holy Seat is currently Vacant!

Clearly the hen was created first. If you know how to read Genesis, you will find the simple answer.

Could you cite instances or people/groups who say that the Holy Seat is Vacant? Are you trying to divide us catholics? The Holy Seat is sanctioned through a vote of cardinals, are you saying that the last papal council that voted for the current pope have no idea what or who they voted for? Are you saying that christianity right now is being led by someone who doesn't deserve to be a pope?

Sigh, I could go on and on about how flawed your views are but you know what, I don't really need to. True catholics need not argue which came first or which is which. True catholics serve and help each other for the good of everyone. If you really are an adherent of Jesus' teachings, then yoou would understand that the essence of catholicism lies not on who is right but in what right have you done for your fellow humans.

Tell me, when was the last time you swallowed your ideals and helped someone who doesn't adhere to your faith?

I appreciate your answers. You seem level-headed and reasonable. In that light, answer my questions the way I answered yours. You owe it not to me but to other Christians here who may have been misleaded by your born-again views. You do know right that born-agains and the mainstream Catholics have quite different takes on Scripture?
