Wrong! A country can be viewed and called a Islamic country if its laws were based on the teachings of the Qur'an. Example of Islamic Countries: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and more. There are also what we called Muslim countries because their population are predominantly Muslims but their laws are secular in nature like for example: Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, and more.

I wasn't claiming anything so I don't know what part I was wrong. I clearly stated that sometimes its in the perception of the individual. Many Muslim countries follow Shariah, some tend to follow Islamic democracy, some claim to be secular, but to people who do not put political spectrum in high regard would see all these countries as Islamic nations based on its predominant culture, for instance Malaysia considers itself secular but it recognizes Islam as a state religion.

There is difference being a Islamic country to Muslim country, in the case of Malaysia having recognizes Islam as a state religion but still it cannot be called a Islamic state because its jurisprudence is based on the English common Law and the Shari'ah is applicable only to the Muslims. Even Saudi Arabia still cannot be called a 100% percent Islamic country because it's form of leadership is monarchial there is only one country that we can called a 100% Islamic country and that is Iran because it's form of leadership is based on Imamate. So, in the case of Christianity, we still have to see a country that based their laws in the Bible for it to be called Christian country even the Vatican which is the seat of Catholicism does not based their laws in the Bible.

Now the thread is getting interesting because of the exchange of ideas and not from the dumbfounded reason why the thread existed .

By the way TS , walay GOD ang FREEMASONRY but the FREEMASONS believes in a SUPREME BEING depending on what religion you belonged to .

True. Many Christians do not bother in the establishment of a 'perfect' Christian nation. Mainly because such a thing is impossible and likely to end up corrupted as any government. Just as those who do not believe in pure Socialism because they see it is impossible to achieve Utopia. Early writings about Church and State like St. Augustine "considered all earthly governments, regardless of their form, as representative of the fallen and imperfect "city of man." The state provided the "sword" to discipline sinful man through law and education Whereas, the church is "perfect and eternal "city of God," preserving the divine, otherworldly values of peace, hope, and charity." Simply put they are charged in different realms and held different values but since both exist and can be applied in the world how can they be put together in effective use?

Although I would lean on a secular state it must be supported by unchangeable precepts added to it just as the American Founding Fathers used Moral Law and their The Declaration of Independence to protect the constitution and the unalienable rights of each individual so that no man or government or institution can ever take away or change it in the future.

It was founded as a protestant christian nation one of the reasons why was because to avoid religious persecution of Europe who did not adhere to catholic doctrines.
So one thing I like to emphasize here based on this history that the protestant and Catholic church are much opposed in their teachings. Lives are lost and wars fought between these two denominations. The protestant protested and was strongly opposed to the catholic as a corrupted form of christianity. And the catholics were so obsessed to cover their corruption of christianity that they even resort to persecution, torture and murder the protestants and the people who distribute the bible to the public who are generally protestants.
So generalizing christians as one group is ubsurd and impossible.
