    In other words, if you want shine, IMPRESS your host, and you just might earn yourself a standing ovation--if you however just SHOUT or GO STARK RAVING MAD at him, you know what's coming for you.

    Hehehe...you might have missed my point. Participating on discussions and debates on this forum is but a privilege for us guests to enjoy. I would love to have a healthy debate with a moderator or admin on specific issues other than the regulations of their affairs so long as I am at their house. Because to argue/instruct a host on how to run his own affairs is beyond our privilege.

    I have the right to be arrogant in my own house--I live there. And besides, and let me reiterate my what I said in my previous post, if he is rough, he will be dealt with roughly, if he is refined, an equal amount of tolerance and restraint will be offered unto him. There are many people here who have annoyed me with their attitude, behavior and character before, and yes some of them got banned or muted, but eventually, they learned how to deal with that and I believe they suffered NO LOSS of their personal integrity, so why can't others be like them?

Therefore, GUESTS should behave as GUESTS, and be mindful of the moods and quirks of the ADMINS/MODS of the house if they don't want to be kicked out. Simple as that.

    If I were the host, I'd treat my guests right. Usahay man gud sir rodsky, condescending kaayo ka'g tinubagan mao nang manginit ang ubang members. Okay ra sa akoa kay I'm matured enough. Unsaon na lang tong mga batan-on.

    That's precisely the point--they are 'batan-on'...they HAVE to be exposed to the reality that "THE WORLD ISN'T CONFIGURED SOLELY FOR THEIR LIKING"--daghang silang ma-encounter nga butang sa kalibutan nga, if they allow their immaturity to prevail, dili dyud sila mo-progress sa ilahang attitude. So, they have to charge that to experience and learn from it. Again, me being condescending is just happenstance--whether I am condescending or not, they will in one way or the other encounter other people like me in the REAL world, and it just so happens they encountered that sort of attitude when dealing with me. Don't tell me the rest of the world is "NICER" than me? Fat chance.

    And again, I hate to keep repeating this, but if it's really true that what I do in these boards is totally objectionable and just completely overboard, dugay na unta ko gi-tang-tang sa akong pagka-mod diri. Abi siguro ninyo "close" ko sa mga mods diri? Intawon, ONCE lang ko naka-attend ug moderator meeting (kana bang halos naa tanang mods), ONCE ra dyud, and wala ko kaila sa most of the mods diri. Beor and Galadriel gani two or three times ra mi nagkita nila in person. I have never even met vern, but he was the person who decided that I should be mod. Dili na nako sila close nga amigo tanan, So DALI ra unta kaayo para sa admins and the other mods to decide (with the help of "concerned" iStoryans who think nga 'BAD' ra kaayo ko nga tawhana) to remove me as a mod. If you apply logic to this, naa siguro hinungdan ngano naa pa ko diri, which is also probably why, despite what you say nga 'condescending' or 'hambugero' ko sa akong 'istayl' diri, nganong daghang mo like sa akong posts (actually this is a mystery to me too)? If one believes that I do deserve to get kicked off as mod, and you glance at my likes, then there's something statistically wrong with the former assertion.

    @rodsky

    sir respect ko nimo..ako lang i challenge imo analogy about house and visitors/guests..pero what if ang imo analogy ato lahion.. instead dili "host and guests".. kundili i- relate nato sa business perspective wherein ang "customer should be treated with utmost respect" kini gi-base sa good customer service" . Kini ma relate nga ang istorya.net ni exist it is because sa mga posters, site owner/admin and mods ug sponsors...

    Asay duol imo house and guests analogy nga super strict or sa business perspective nga lenient?

    again wala koy personal nga kaligotgot nimo. infact I like your style..pero gusto lang ko mo challenge kanang partiha...peace..
