still far.
we wont break into the top 100 this year, not before WC2014, 2018, or 2022.
yes we are getting good quality players with pinoy lineage, but that could only get us a bit of a push.
>first we target a great grassroots program supported by the govt and private sectors.
>next is the establishment of a solid professional league that follows the format of foreign leagues. we only have two divisions in the UFL, and the UFL is based in manila, so we still couldnt count that as a national league. but yeah, the UFL is a good sign for the sport.
then we get teams to represent our country in AFC cup tournaments and eventually, we get to have CLUBS representing our country in the AFC champions' League.
>then we challenge ourselves and play among the best in this region. then this side of the continent. then the whole of asia na dayun. with good-paced development we could get there. we should not stop developing.
>we change the style of the phil. national team. they dont have to practice 24/7 together. get them to play abroad, or raise the bar in the local scene. that way we save sa expenses in training because their Club owners will do that for the player. then when tournament comes, 2 or 3 days before the game mao ray pag-abut sa mga players from their respective clubs to join the team.
one step at a time, kaya ra kaayu na nato gyud.![]()
