victoria for DOS & Windows is still the best software to use when checking your HDD. btw, ang kaning Regenerator, mogamit ni siyag spare sectors from factory sa im0ng drive para ma ilisan tong mga bad blocks nga marked as error sa ECC sa imong hd. well as far as i know, thats how hdd regenerator performs, some also say... it makes your ECC ignore bad blocks para dili na siya ma writtan ug data ang kato nga sectors. There are also threads in some forums nga Fully mo "regenerate" jud kuno ug sectors ang HDD regen w/o the "spare sectors" you have on your drive... medyo lisod tuhoan pero that came from the creators mismo. best of luck sa mogamit.
