this is bound to happen... it is inevitable. there is a court order and the police has to act and on the side of the squatters also this is their lifeline... if they are moved lets say to the province then they starve there.. even if we give them land in the province they don't have the resources and knowledge how to till and farm.. so basically their only option is to stay and fight..
i don't blame both sides.. both are just doing what they need to do...
the blame should be on our government specially with the lack of jobs... remember the story of "pagpag".. someone posted about it.. these are the people in the story about "pagpag"... isang kahig isang tuka ingon sila.. and i understand why they will fight and even die for their squatted land... these barong2x houses is the only possession they have.. sa police pud nga side.. i cant blame them... they are under orders and must act on it and protect their ranks... if i am one of the squatter i will surely fight and if i am one of the police then i should do my job as ordered because after all my job is my lifeline...
we should not be blaming the police or the squatters we should be blaming the government as a whole.. we should ask the questions why do we have squatters in the first place.... why did we end up in this situation? its not what we see that is important in this matter but what is the root cause of this problem.
