Our conviction and belief is that the Helmet Law should be VOLUNTARY. If the premise is personal safety, then the person is in the best position to decide for himself/herself. This law carries with it stiff penalties, if and when implemented. I partly agree that this should not be mandatory, but please stop making city ordinances that prohibits a rider from wearing a helmet because the authorities can't stop crime and blames motorcyclist wearing helmets...
