^ i have the samsung wave which also felt very solid. but the lcd broke when it fell.. so, for me it's just a matter of taking care of your things. not the super thin plastic.

I just prefer IOS for cellphones. For tablets android is cool and cheap.
if you compare all entry level android on the same price range namely:
Galaxy Y, LG P500, LG Optimus ME, HTC Wildfire /S, Alcatel OT918
for the people that doesnt care about brand names the Alcatel is the most obvious and cost effective choice.
Ive used all phones mentioned and i rate them in this order:
1. LG P500 - Mainly due to its customisability in terms of ROM/Kernels etc.
2. Alcatel 918N - Very comfortable to use, actually one of the few android that satisfied me out of the box, very user friendly UI
3. HTC Wildfire S - by far the most expensive of the 5.... but exactly the same specs with 918N... somewhat difficult to type.
4. Optimus ME - CM7 Compatible.. Very comfortable to type even with the small screen..
5. Galaxy Y - Great Processor thats about it everything else is rubbish..
garbage ang resolution sa galaxy y compared sa 918n.. sau UI pa lng kita na kaau.. pati icons grbe ka bati.
kung sa pc pa murag 16 bit ra tanawon.. hehe
Was researching about the Alcatel but I never did include the Galaxy Y Duo sa akong research coz I know its pretty expensive for what it offers, it was either the alcatel or the lenovo A60 akong choice but I ended up getting a cheaper nokia n101 kay 1,300 ra walay sakit sa dughan if unsa.
