Beau, you're not actually complaining about "cebglish" per se, you're complaining about the "Kaartehan" of the people who constantly use cebglish to make themselves appear "better than the rest" or "a notch higher on the social ladder". You meet these kind of people daily...at work, in the jeepney, in a public bathroom. Some of them seem genuinely raised by it (i.e. that's how they talk in their household, it's normal for them) and those people I can tolerate...what I cannot tolerate are those nga klaro kaayo they started only doing it AFTER arriving in Cebu and got themselves a call center job, then they noticed that's how people talk in Cebu, and they start talking that way--kana ang mga types nga lami i-lampaso ang nawong sa sidewalk.
