Nikon D800 with 36MP sensor RELEASED Feb 7 2012!!!

base sa specs, mas gamay siyag space sa pixel density around 4.8 microns vs sa d4 nga 7.3 microns. so meaning to say dili kaayo siya ok sa noise handling or shooting at higher ISO to 25,600 max vs d4 ISO 204,800 .and a frame rate of 4fps / 6fps with batt grip vs d4 10fps. pero ok ra japon ni sa mga FF shooters nga ang speed ug low light wala kaayo g require. so sa pc requirements mag-upgrade napod ta para maka support sa high transfer rate sa file ug sa memory buffer. same goes to canon 5dmark III nga for low-end hi-res product lines xa.

When it comes tothe noise sir, much better sya kaysa d700. Before i bought my d800 as i was skeptical of buying it because i bought my d700 this year and wasnt ready for an upgrade but after the camera guy showed me the difference with the two cameras, i decided to get d800 despite that its only 4fps like the d7000. Im using the 24-70mm lens. Cant talk so much about it yet since i dont know too much about it, i have to play around with it but definately happy with my purchase.

Girl ko sir. I5 man unta ako processor. Hp omni all in one pc. Dugay-dugay pod ma transfer ang files oi . Another thing is, mas dali sya ma lowbat kaysa d700. Is this have something to do with the 36 mp? Despite of the cons wala pa man ko nagmahay.

pila ka gigabytes imo RAM sa pc mam? usa mana sa maka patabang og paspas sa pag transfer sa files.

I sod my d700 to buy this, so far im not disappointed except the part sa pag downlad sa files, maboang ang kadugay oi! I shoot raw. Sus maghuwat gyud. Same problem that i had with my d700 but probably worse. . Is there any way mapadali ug transfer ang files or ani na gyud ni?

Try also sis kanang higher class nga SD cards (higher mbps). Sa pagtransfer nimo, direct cable to cam or card reader?

I think it does not matter of how fast the card is what matter is the transfer rate of USB 2.0. Even though the D800 support USB 3.0 but if your pc is USB2.0 it still going to use the USB2.0 transfer rate.

I use a UDMA card reader to transfer my images to my PC and I have bought a PCIe USB3.0 to give my PC USB3.0 capability. I notice using a reader mas faster ug transfer to PC compared copying from the camera.

Just want to share my thoughts on the D800. I don't see any difference with my old D700. On a hobbyist stand point 80% of my images are posted in the web (max 1200x720) and you cant appreciate the full res(7360x4912). Yes the details are awesome when your in the fashion industry this is a must but for most of the non-working hobbyist the D700 still works perfectly

I think it does not matter of how fast the card is what matter is the transfer rate of USB 2.0. Even though the D800 support USB 3.0 but if your pc is USB2.0 it still going to use the USB2.0 transfer rate.

It is hardware dependent, yes, but on both sides sir. It depends on the card's read/write speed as well as the USB port's transfer rate. Even a USB 3.0 port cannot make a class 6 SDHC go beyond it's rated read/write speed and compete with class 10 cards.

This was my first thought before i decided to buy the d800 but after they showed me the big difference to the noise plus the video capabilities ( which i think is awesome, i just had a baby and would love to keep track on his development so having a dslr with a video is a big bonus!). Definatelt the d800 lived up to my expectations. I had the choice of going back to canon and get the 5d mark iii but after reading the reviews about how faulty the camera is and canon needs to improve, with all the hobbyists critics i decided to back off couldnt afford to take the risk
