most avi files on net are xvid,divx,h263 compressed, those sure will play. if u have files already and u want to check what compression was used, install MediaInfo Lite on you pc, right click on the file and you will see what compression is used. extention(like .avi,mp4.mkv) are just containers. its possible to have an .AVI file but has h264 compression so it will not play on your player. explore lang and ask around. we will help as much as we can(but not talking about P stuffs kay maka piso ta sa mods)

divx, mpeg4 ra man gud ang supported sa akong player according sa manual. i will try what you suggested and will get back here for additional help.

hey! you fixed my problem. i was finally able to play a video file. divx, file extension is .avi. Thank you so much, gahapon pa ko nangita ug resolution ani. Daghang salamat gyud.

My Question - I am downloading topics from sites and wish to play it in my LED TV without using the computer as the reader but instead the DVD player by using the USB plug as I do for other TV episodes at times but as is my problem, since the site wishes to have lower file size has made it into a format that you shared does not play and I am wondering can I change that format without making the file size very large in size.

The file is an MP4 - h264 file size 180-200mb
