Cosidering walay leaking sa head gasket, adding baking soda to radiator water can help to show where is the leak. Baking soda can also improve energy flow and can plug tiny leak at normal operating temperature. However, the water baking soda solution is best to use as radiator cleaner that should be drained later kung hugaw na kaayo ang tubig.

For the purpose of finding the leak, with baking soda (120grams), inig naay leak, makakita ka ug trace of baking soda nga ni dry tungod sa kainit after ni evaporate ang tubig. Kung asa ang naay nag putiputi, diha ang leaking. Fix the leak and replace your radiator water with rain water or distilled water with rust converter nga Island brand, 200ml. Kini nga solution will stop all rust labi na sa head gasket area nga agian sa tubig, aron maiwasan nga mabuslot ang head gasket. This will also improve the entire cooling system sa imong makina ug dili toxic when drained. I do not recommend using baligya nga radiator coolant as part sa radiator water, toxic na ug di maayo gamiton, makadaot pa sa supply nato sa tubig.

Wla ko na notice. Although mga 2 minutes ra to nag andar ang engine, with a/c on, ako gi tan-aw ang exhaust, wala man sad.

Dli sya mo empty itself when parked overnight. I tried that the other day. nag refill ko, with coolant and distilled water. Ako pud gi butangan ug distilled water ang overflow bottle.

I haven't tried "pressure testing". Wala pa sad ko ka sulay ug unsaon na. Will try that. Tan-aw lng ko Youtube vids for tutorial.

Dli man ni kuyaw noh as long as dli ma empty ang water sa radiator while ga dagan? Twice nga I have to refill about 2 glasses of water para ma full kay I noticed walay tubig sa top sa radiator. Usually, maka kita man ko ug tubig.

If it's just 2 glasses approx ang mawala then I'd say check the overflow hose if it can draw water back to the radiator. Let me "try" to paint the scenario of what I think happened... When the engine heats up, water expands and the extra water pushes itself to the overflow container. Then when the engine cools (parking, etc) the water in the rad then will go back to the normal volume, so it will now lack a few "glasses" of water which was pushed to the overflow container when the water was hot... if the hose going to the overflow cannot suck back the water that was displaced into the overflow container then it will suck back air and then when you open the rad... naa nay kulang.

hahahaha libug paminawon da, re-read lang nya a few times This is happening to me everyday in my lancer since I'm too lazy to really fix the overflow hose HAHAHAHAHA It can route the water from the rad to the overflow with no problem but sucking it back is another story since naay leak akong overflow hose inside the overflow container dapit sa cover. Just try sucking back the water from the overflow using the hose connected to the rad (CAREFUL WITH THE COOLANT, TOXIC NA)

OT: On another note, be wary lang pud with the rust converter as most rust converters contain tannic acid and butoxyethanol which could damage the engine block and also the water pump. Most rust converters are also not recommended to be used above 37 dec C or 100 deg F. Double check lang label sa likod if magamit ra.

But I do agree with the baking soda for flushing the rad... run your engine with baking soda for a few minutes then drain your radiator, you will see "tons" of dirt being flushed out as well. Good way to flush and clean your engine cooling system.

If your radiator is ok, all the hose are tight and no leaking. the problem is at cylinder head gasket. During compression stroke
in a 4 stroke engine pressure in the chamber goes very high and it will enters to the water jackets causing it to water to escape
from any possible outlet. The purpose of water reservoir is receive any excess amount of water during boing point and it create
vacuum when the engine is cold.
