Im pure chinese also both of my parents race & born here in the Philippines, I decide everything for my self, about marrying filipina and etc.. they cannot do about it.. i dont follow chinese tradition only a little hehehe .. ... I think kanang mga gusto mag follow sa ilang mga chinese tradition are those person na walay balls hehehehe !! can't stand by them selves , only waiting to be feed or dont want to loose thier mana from thier parents. hehehe..
im proud to be Filipino ... i hate for being a chinese, because of discrimination during my schools day & even now.... but sometimes being chinese really help me a lot ...
If your in US. and you have a family, you like your children to learn filipino culture, values & etc..
I think pareho rin na sa mga Chinese. naa sa pilipinas...
Ang mga Pure na filipino is yung mga egorot, aitas & others pa... kitang tanan nag halo halo na blood.. Spanish, Chinese, american, japanese, indonesian, malaysia & etc...
Dont be mad kung ano ilang gibuhat, Lets make our own way to achieve more better than they have.
peace to all , Love one another hehehe

Do you know that abroad where is the most population of Chinese?
Canada is Number 1...Mga rich chinese from Hongkong owns properties in Canada. Vancouver i believe has the most chinese population and a lot of Pinoys too in Canada.
second....San Francisco...daghan kaayo chinese dire with relatives living in Canada too. And remember just like in Seattle, we too have our Chinatown and we also have a big Japantown. Lately lang, they opened a new store where i live and its such a big fun store and its really cheap. Nice stationeries and everything for the home. The name of the store is Daiso Japan. As big as a warehouse. Its fun to shop there
Anyhow doesn't matter and it doesn't bother me at all Chinese or whatever. I dont discriminate. I happen to respect everyone for their contribution to society and chinese people contribute to Philippine economy so they are helping in that aspect as well.

@Streetcar: Well when it comes to that what's done is done man pud. Anha raman pud mogawas akong pagka anti-Chinese kaayo ug mga hambugero nga mga chinese who think they're so much better than Filipinos. Their contribution to Philippine Economy? Oh well... wala na ta'y mahims they're already there and have dominated already. I remember that movie Mano Po, tumpak kaayo... very strong points of view pinoys side and Chinese' side nalingaw ko ato nga movie and very true.
We've co-existed for quite some time already and yes ug walay Chinese walay SM, Gaisano... but then again if I have the power to go back in time and change our history invisibly... I'd smack FM with a big baseball bat. I still consider that part of our Filipino history an avoidable mistake because if we really think about it... how our FIlipino heroes in the likes of Bonifacio and Aguinaldo who one of them forcefully fought for Philippine freedom from the Americans... nya nasayon ra ug palit ang citizenship sa mga intsik tsk tsk tsk nalang.
