Heres how science explains it, guys.
I'll try to share what little knowledge i have about it and make it really simple.
This phenomenon we are talking about is actually a sleep disorder. It's called sleep paralysis or REM sleep parasomnia. This is the temporary paralysis of the muscles in the body due to the muscle atonia that normally occurs during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep as our body’s way of protecting ourselves from acting out our dreams. You see, we have stages of sleep and the last stage, the REM stage, is the stage of deep sleep. this is where dreaming occurs. The temporary paralysis is felt when we wake up in the middle of the REM stage of sleep, this is an anomaly. But the paralysis usually ends on its own, or when somebody talks to you or you hear a sound. Muscle atonia prevents our body from bolting out of bed when we dream of being chased by somebody in our sleep.
    I hope I was helpful.

in actuality, there is always an explanation for everything.. that was not the first time anything strange happened sa balay.. among front door, ang knob dli kanang round, mura xa ug horizontal nga metal, ud have to twist downwards to open or close.. one time naa ko g buhat sa table, ni tinggug ang door, murag ni shake.so ni linggi ko.. ang sister sa among helper nag lingkod sa sofa.. among helper iya sister was upstairs changing the kids kay padung mi lakaw. my mom was upstairs in her room.both kids wer upstairs..im quite sure they wer all in those places kay from upstairs walay ma agi-an going down like an outside way to come back again insde the house, only thru the stairs which was ryt beside me.. anyway, ang katong horizontal knob sa among front door ni twist downwards timing pag lingi nko. i ran to the door to see if anyone was outside, basin naay ni abot.. i saw that the gate was locked so imposible naay ni abot. i looked back sa sister sa among helper n asked her if she saw the horizontal knob move, she saw it sad.. this is so off topic.. anywayz, even though i believe there's always an explanation for everything, pero yea, my undies wer down to my ankles.. ako sad miga, the one i mentioned in previous posts, iya shirt was pulled up.. she felt something was there except for the time when she made wakli..

What makes sleep paralysis kinda freaky to us (yes, us) who have experienced it is... it is usually accompanied with tactile and sensory hallucinations. You feel like there's a "presence" in the room and your hair stands on end (goosebumps). And you feel like there's somebody bearing down on you around the chest or abdomen area, like somebody's holding you down. Its the weight of our paralized muscles. Sometimes, the hallucinations are visual, as in you see something jud. It's part dream part hallucination.

This is often caused by stress, sleep deprivation and fatigue and people who sleep on their backs (nakatihaya). If this is becoming a chronic occurence, appropriate sleep positioning is advised (lying on your side while sleeping or hugging somthing soft like a fluffy pillow or stuffed toy), or listening to relaxing music, ambient sounds, body massages. Pero never jud sleeping pills because they are depressants musamot nuon. And if it becomes chronic, try having urself checked by ur physician it might be narcolepsy (i hope not). Kaso murag wa ta sleep study here (polysomnography test).

I couldn't say anything about the displacement of the undies tho, pero im sure she couldn't have done it herself ky in sleep paralysis, you cant move so how did it get there? Grrrr...
