marketing strategies man gud ni sa kada iya iyang companies (Intel and AMD). d sad ta ka dretso ug state mao ni mao na coz they planned this studied this already, it doesnt mean na nabiyaan na sa intel ang AMD, ang ilaha plans for the up coming years ghapon ang ma tuman...if most likely ang AMD maka creat nasad, ug lain na maka apas sa Intel aw mas nindut kay na tuman nila ang ila target for the projected year/s.

both of the companies are really competing to be the "Top 1" CPU design & manufacturing company... kaso lang, bilog ang mundo man... sa maka una lang ani nila... this is the reality of Semicon business. patay ka kun mag hinay2x... even ang work sa industry is fast paced. kun mag hinay2x ang employee, aw bya-an... sorry na lang during the yearly performance appraisal period. mao gyud ni akoang experience dri sa semicon industry... grabeh ang pressure kay you have to beat your competitor's technology, performance, price, shipment, after sales support and others... plus, the most important thing... you must beat the "Time to Market" on new products... para maka gain ka ug strong foot hold...

@Topic - para nako mas maau ang g buhat karon sa AMD..they already prove in way back athlon days nga pwd gyud sila maka compete sa Intel..its just that nga pag gawas sa Cores series sa Intel..behind na gyud sila..pero no one can tell..basin ug mo gawas nasad ang ilang g ingon pa ninyo nga "Bangis" sad nga pambato sa Intel SB and IB...remember ko sauna nag dominate sauna sa highskol pa ko ang pentium nga name sa market..kung mo palit ka computer ang ibuka sa mga tawo..pentium na imong computer..sa mga net cafe nga akong na sudlan sa college pako..puro Intel ang naka butang..pero pag gawas sa Athlon...ni hinay2 sila ug shift..

if AMD can recover thru this mobile and APU market kana basin naa na silay g luto sad para sa ilang e ilis sa "FAILDOZER" nga series nga wala gyud mo humot sa mga enthusiast all over the world...and besides maka play paman gihapon ang Phenoms karon..dili lang gyud sya "Bangis" pag naka 2500k or naka 2600k ka...

viscous cycle man ni sya... failure sa Intel kay ang P4 (mao ni ang naka bati sa Pentium name nila. ang current SB Pentium line kay ok kaayo ug performance) then ang sa AMD kay ang 1st gen sa Bulldozer series (FXxxx)...

everyone must undergo "The Learning Curve Process"... nobody is exempted on this... basta, ang bottom line kay kita'ng mga consumers ang ma happy...

go go AMD... apasa unya i-level or i-surpass (kun madala) ang Intel para dili pud sila magpa george2x (ang sakto ani kay para dili ni silang duha magpa george sa technology nila)... mag develop sila duha ug nindot na micro-architecture from the current offerings then release sa market at a lower price para healthy ang competition...
