American Reunion' Scores $34M at Overseas Box Office

Conventional box-office wisdom suggests that American comedies don't play well in foreign countries. Universal's "American Reunion" shots some holes in that theory over the weekend, grossing $34 million from 49 overseas territories.

That raised its foreign cume to $117.2 million, well ahead of its U.S. grosses to this point, which are $55.3 million, according to box office data firm Rentrak.

Saw the movie in ayala, the songs played during the reunion night was pure nostalgic. Bic Runga, Lit, The Verve pipe, etc - that alone is worth watching the movie. I cried a tear during that scene, grabeh ka nostalgic ang mga kanta that it sent me right away during my 90s days
