According to Philippine Retailers Association, majority of products on shelves are made in China – Like steel, choth, toys, appliances, shoes, clothing, cellphones and computers. Made in China products are more than 90%....Shall we label Philippines Made in China too?

However There are other countries in this world who make a better quality products; Europeans, Americans, Japanese and Koreans. Surely, their products will probably more expensive but the qualities will be far greater than that made by the chinese. ..So we still have choices indeed.

I am actually very selective of China-made products that I buy. After the melamine scare, I definitely have not been buying anything that I will eat or drink. If I need to make a durable investment such as cellphones, I'll totally not consider a Chinese brand because of questionable & poor quallity..

Because of this territorial issue against China, I'll be even more selective. If there's a counterpart Philippine-made product such as footwear, I'll choose the Philippine-made anytime seriously.. IN fact i has started already to boycott China made product.. I can have the other choice that i want and it needs a lot of sacrifice since 90% goods here in our Country are all China Made and that makes us so SAD

First of all, I have carefully mentioned on my post "made in China". Not made by "Chinese".

I have no problems with our local Chinese and maybe even the ones in mainland except those pulling the triggers on their public display of power and nonsensical claim of whatever they think is theirs.

I hope others can do the same as the Chinese community in our country aren't at all as arrogant compared to the feeling rich pinoys, and other nationalities. Apil pa guro tagalogs ani kung bo-ot huna2on? hehe... So let's stay away from this please.

Again, I would like to reiterate that goods made in China aren't always cheaper compared. NOT ANYMORE. It used to be, yes. But not anymore. At least not all the time.

I have seen countless times where a China-made product has been priced aptly to match say a Japanese made version of it. This is the worst case scenario and I think it's one strategy of business owners to make their china-made goods look "authentic" and non-china made." MAHAL gud so orig gyud siguro ni", would come into our minds right?

I like DEMENCIETY's list. Let's keep it growing. If we can put where to buy them, that would be great. We can make this thread a directory of sorts of products that have been made elsewhere other than China. Bahala sa Tibet guro gibuhat at least that country isn't illogical and a bully of ours.

So istoryans, let's keep the list growing!

speaking of made in china products, naa ko nakit-an nga gi share sa akong friend sa facebook. and know it in barcode...

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

just like ain, i am also selective in made in china products. i avoid all on foods, drinks, food supplements, & medicines that are made in china. but to be fair some of made in china, kini diay akong nike running shoes, apparels, iphone, samsung I9000 android phone, HP laptop are all made in china but their technology are from US (nike shoes, apparels, iphone, HP laptop) & south korea (samsung I9000).

what i know, tan -awon pod ang light side sa made in china, naa man pod advantage baya. kay kung wala made in china products, sobra ka-mahal ang mga gamit or things nga naa ron.

There are a lot of choices actually bro.. But at some point, we were just bombarded with a lot of CHINA MADE products lang gyud that is why we are forced to buy them whether we like it or not. But on the other way around, there are a lot of selections that are NON-CHINA MADE that we yet to discover pa gyud.. We hope that YOUR or OUR concern will be a great appeal of our Businessmen.
