And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:14-18 KJV

Bro. Kenshiro and Bro. Marine77, as what I can see to all your posts you only make things complicated, GOD is not the author of confusions. The message is very simple "BELIEVE IN ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD".

The controversy about the personality of Jesus is the major difference between Islam and Christianity. This difference keeps the followers of the two religions apart. Muslims look at Jesus Christ as a great Prophet of God and love and respect him as such as they love and respect Abraham, Moses and Muhammad(may the peace be upon them all). Christians on the other hand consider Jesus as God or son of God, a concept that Muslims cannot accept. Islam teaches that Jesus never made such a claim for himself. As a matter of fact all the cardinal doctrines of Christianity that are rejected by Islam center around the personality of Jesus. Specifically these are:

    1. The Trinity
    2. The Diviinity of Jesus
    3. The Divine Sonship of Christ
    4. Original Sin, and
    5. Atonement

It is clear that all these dogmas are the result of over-exhalting Jesus Christ above what God wants him to be. These differences focusing on the personality of Jesus have overshadowed the many similarities between Christianity and Islam.

The Islamic view of Jesus lies between the two extremes. The Jews, who rejected Jesus as a Prophet of God, called him an impostor. The Christians on the other hand, consider him to be the son of God and worship him as such. Islam considers Jesus as one of the great Prophets of God. This is in conformity with the Islamic point of view of the ONENESS OF GOD, the ONENESS of Divine Guidance and the complimentary role of the subsequent messages of God's messengers. The essence of Islam, which is the willing submission to the will of God, was revealed to Adam who passed it on to his children. All following revelations to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally Muhammad were in conformity with that message in addition to some elaboration to define the relation between man and God, man to man, man and his environment, and to live according to God's instructions. Thus, any contradiction among revealed religions is viewed by Islam as a man-made element introduced into these religions. The position of Jesus in the three major religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, should not be an exception.

    PEACE....

Notice that in my previous post Quran has a the wrong assumption and account of Jesus. As refuted by the prophecy of the old testament and the new testament. So why base this account of Jesus in this book.
Jesus says I am the way the truth and the Life no can go to the father but through me.
No other prophets claim such title and responsibility.

Islam has the same view as the pharisees which accused Jesus to be blasphemous when Jesus claimed to be equal with God. Jesus refuted and denounce them calling them hypocrites.

This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, abecause not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God chist own Father, making himself equal with God.
    John 5:18
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
    John 10:33

    Jesus condeming the Pharisees:
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!
    Mathew 23:29

    The Apostles affirmed Jesus divinity
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.
    Collossians 2:9

The Doctrine of Christianity is only through Christ we can be saved. And we also believe in exposing deception and error to clarify the truth even more.

No one can reach God but through Christ.
    Christ himself said:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
There can only be one, not the prophets not the Angels, not Hinduism, or Buddhism but only through Christ.

If you assume that by these verse only few will have the possibility of being saved then you are right:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
    Mathew 7:14 -

    Peace...

We respect the moslems too bro!
The Fact is, we have a different interpretations and experiences about God. The occultist have theirs, new age beliefs, etc.. have their own also. But the issue we are dealing with is the way to salvation of our souls! We can become as good person as we are without god but is it the way? we can open our third eye and become successful materially but is it the way? we can even pray 5 times a day and follow the 5 pillars without God in us but is it the way?

Given the idea that God sent his Son into this world is worth pondering of what was that mean!
We cannot say that Jesus was just a mere prophet since there were several of them that came before Him. What's the point of sending Jesus through a miraculous birth and His resurrection if His teachings were simply synonymous with that of Moses and the rest? There is no point.

And if he is one of the most revered prophet, moral teacher, etc.. then only in the BIBLE where you can find his teachings and those of His followers.

Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law which no one can fulfill. He was the perfect sacrifice once and for all the human race.

No wonder that most of those unbelievers who turned to follow Christ have this same experience that they have either dreams or visions of Jesus.

It is now the Holy Spirit that works in the hearts of men.

Kinsay dunay last say if naa naba natu ang kaluwasan or wala pa?

kinsay dunay katungod or kahibalo if ang atung Gibuhat gidawat sa Ginoo or wala? Kita ra sang tawo?

Again, as I shared there are two things gihisgutan kung unsa ang kaluwasan:

    1) Kaluwasan gikan sa pagka ulipon sa sala
    2) Kaluwasan gikan sa kamatayong walay katapusan (meaning being separated from God throughout eternity)

Of course, dili nato ma conclude ang ikaduha tungod kay wala paman ta ana nga state. But refer to the following scriptures:

"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36)

"but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." (John 4:14)

"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him, may have eternal life; and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." (John 6:40)

Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12)

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand." (John 10:27-2

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26)

that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:21)

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:22)

And yet for this reason I found mercy, in order that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience, as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. (1 Timothy 1:16)

but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, (2 Timothy 1:10)

For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory. (2 Timothy 2:10)

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:5-7)

Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, (Hebrews 5:8-9)

and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. (Hebrews 9:12)

And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1 John 5:11)

He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. (1 John 5:12)

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13)

and on and on and on....

I would not say nga christians ra ang maluwas coz honestly, wala mi kabalo unsay arrangements sa Ginoo for the unbelievers nga maayo! But it is safe to say that when you have God and Jesus Christ in your life, surely you will have that eternal life.
