Grishnákh WIP 1: Primed and Glazed



I missed a few flashes and mold lines. I removed the flashes but some of the mold lines will have to stay. These flashes and mold lines are hard to see when the kit is still unprimed. May I should test prime metal kits in the future, then remove the flashes and mold lines, then strip the primer with Simple Green before I reapply primer for painting.

There's not much reference online about this character though (times like this I wish I were friends with the concept designer).

Check out the Games workshop site: games-workshop.com to see the prices. Before you buy, what are you planning for? Paint only, paint and play? If you want to paint and play, research first which army you want to use, get their codec first and build an army list so you know what to buy and not waste money.

@wingsong: jumps and I are living and working in Cebu. He paints and plays while I just paint. As suggested by jumps, you can visit GamesWorkshop.com. Click Warhammer 40,000, click Warhammer 40,000 armies, Click each army's Getting Started. If you can't decide even after reading, then it would probably better to hang out with the gamers first and observe how they play.

I'm sure you already know that while it's cheap to start out with this hobby, it'd eventually get more expensive as you expand your army Heck, I'm not a player and I already spent thousands of pesos on this !@#$%^&* hobby. Love hate relationship.
